A Master's in Public Health (MPH) is a postgraduate degree designed to prepare students for careers in public health research, policy, and practice. The MPH curriculum combines coursework in public health, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, health behavior and health education, health services management, and environmental health. Students also have the opportunity to specialize in an area of public health, such as global health or health informatics. Upon completion of their program, graduates are equipped to work in a variety of settings, from research labs to government agencies to the private sector. With an MPH, graduates are well-positioned for leadership roles in public health.
